In the name of political rampage

What should be the course of the law if a person or group of people rampantly burn down some body’s property?

While the legal action is very clear, however, when the same rampage is carried under the banner of political protest, the perpetrators are hardly prosecuted.

Today, in Mumbai, India,  Shiv Sena, a local political party burned down a truck; a random truck on Western Express Highway to protest against a hike in power tariff.

The main highway of the financial capital city was blocked and the traffic was jammed for hours. People and the political party that participated in the activity are roaming free and if anything feel emboldened by their crass action.

When will we bring such acts under strict legislation and punish the perpetrators to the maximum so that such actions are not repeated again?

While political parties that participate in such activities are trying to en-cash vote banks by playing on junta’s emotions; how come the ruling parties and the law enforcement agencies are blind to such acts.

It is high time that all parties, national or local, wake up and understand that the petty politics based on the emotions and frivolities of a common man is over. Junta is waking up and is restless against those who carry out such acts as well as against ruling parties that cast a blind eye on such issues.
